There seems to be a rash of husbands dying, men with young families and several children. Please pray for Naomi, Carol, Shannon, Kathryn, and up here in Alaska, Diane who lost her husband as well as her three younger children in a tragic plane accident. May the God of all comfort lift these wives, mothers, and children up and wrap His loving arms around them.
I also learned of a man named Chris who just lost his wife Jennifer and oldest son, Tyler. His wife rescued their 8yo from the ocean and went back in for her 9yo. Tyler is still missing, and Jennifer didn't survive. Please lift them up as well.
Among our friends and aquaintances, it has been home school mothers who have been dying and leaving young children. It has been very hard to pray for a home school mother in our church who recently was diagnosed with cancer – all the other mamas my children know have died despite our prayers.
